Co- Parenting Training
Co- Parenting classes are offered to families that are going through a divorce and have children. This course helps parents understand the importance of creating a parenting partnership even though their marriage has come to an end. The course also helps parents understand the correlation between the co-parenting relationship and how this can affect children's outcomes.
Classes can be court ordered or voluntarily taken.
Providing social studies for step-parent and relative adoptions. Social studies are also completed on court ordered child custody cases.
Social Studies
Foster Parent Training
Training is provided to potential foster parents or parents already licensed.
PRIDE training material is used along with other relevant foster parent material.
Coaching
The professional relationship that is client focused and the avenue that helps clients learn how to make choices that create an effective, balanced and fulfilling life. Coaching is different from counseling services in that it focuses on your present and future. LB Family Life Services strives to create challenging goals and help clients meet those goals by utilizing intense accountability and motivation.
Coaching areas include: time management, spiritual, career, relationship and family, personal, mental health and youth coaching.
Sessions are held in person, by telephone or through Skype along with in between sessions by text or email.
